Post war CHA is changing with the future needs of the country. Our core mission and focus has and will be the early recovery of persons searching for dignity of life affected by disasters including poverty. Our vision is to work with the whole country.
We are currently focusing on children, elderly, the disabled, women, displaced, slum dwellers, workers and families in the plantation sector and those living in poverty or suffering from deprivation and loss as a consequence of conflict or disaster.
Our commitment extents to providing the most vulnerable with protection and assistance for relief, rehabilitation, recovery, reconstruction and development, to alleviate poverty, suffering and to promote the observance of fundamental humanitarian principles.
To this end CHA has begun:
- Identifying such groups and their needs
- Disseminating needs identified with relevant individuals/organizations through events/avenues within and external to CHA
- Addressing these needs through linking with organizations/individuals possessing the time, resources and capacity to assist and advocate
