Data collection by using the PPI tool developed by ProMis and training of CHA staff working on this program
Meetings at Village level and the informal group formation
Community mobilization for preparing the groundwork for the programme
Establishment of self help groups based on results of appraisals
Monthly meetings with the community protection network to facilitate and highlight needs of the village inhabitants and seek redress. Building a community nucleus capacity to benefit the economically inactive poor utilizing members of the Community Protection Network (CPN) and youth volunteers
Training and awareness creation for targeted recipients

Working with the Gami Pubuduwa field officers to monitor progress of activities and ensure participation of group members
Track progress of recipients of grants ( not funded under this initiative) and training and enhancement of their families through improved income generation
